    Did you know there are about 25 key security and privacy features in Microsoft Teams to keep your organization secure and compliant? We will cover what these features are as overview and deep dive with some of them so you can apply it to your Microsoft Teams environment and related workloads such as SharePoint.

    Q. Tell us a bit about yourself? – City, family, hobbies, job title

    A. London (UK), two children & wife, cycling/cricket/technology workouts, Managing Director/Microsoft 365 Consultant/Architect/Trainer/Organiser/Speaker/Volunteer

    Q.Tell us something about yourself that not many people know about you?

    A. Grew up in Kenya and India. Completed 10+ long distance cycling & duathlon charity events.

    Q. What does a typical workday look like for you?

    A. Wake up at 5am, drink masala chai, frequent walks, hop onto many Teams meeting calls 😊

    Q. 1st job out of college

    A. Salesman.

    Q. Your 1st version of SharePoint that you experienced and what year

    A. SharePoint Portal Server 2001 in 2002.

    Q. Last challenging project and why? (this should relate to your demo)

    A. Migrating M365 workloads on a cheap with limited resources. Treating security and compliance work packages as separate phase of project.

    Q. What is the biggest mistake that your feel holds back your clients from the results they want (this should relate to your demo)

    A. They don’t know what they want, but they like it when they see it and then comes out requirements!

    Q. Describe a SharePoint train wreck project, and what did you learn?

    A. Lift and Shift fileshare folders and files. Keep insisting business to clean-up, analyse what data moves in their organization.

    Q. Your favorite M365 feature/tool and why

    A. M365 PnP, because it has saved me tons of time when scripting solutions. Thank you PnP community contributors.

    Q. Where do you think Microsoft is going with M365.. Be totally honest

    A. work following you all the time and gap between personal and work life getting slimmer.

    What are the 3 cool features of the demo? Compliance manager actions, sensitive labels and DLP

    What is the sizzle? Can’t create site or team without sensitive label classification applied.

    Q. What was your first job out of hire school

    A. Car Park Attendant

    Q. What’s your biggest nightmare project you have worked on … And what did you learn from this experience

    A. Doing a SharePoint migration without discovery and it is achievable.

    Q. What’s the best and worst tech advice you’ve been given

    A. Best: User is always right.

    Worst: Don’t fix what’s not broken.

    Q. What are you working on to become a developer/consultant / CTO

    A. Super Consultant.

    Q. Where do you want to be in 5 years?

    A. Happy & Healthy in these strange pandemic times.

    Q. What’s your blind spot in your Microsoft knowledge? Pitfalls

    A. Change is constant and keeping up with it.
